Kicking off reading today, Genesis 31-35.
Observations, things that jump out. Each one of us should read each line, every word, ourselves, and take notes. Don’t be afraid of underlining your bible, writing out the meaning of words you’ve looked out, or references you’ve found. Enjoy the experience of discovering God in those pages.

We’re following the story of Jacob, his family, how God is bringing things into his life in line with the promise to Abraham and Isaac.
How Jacob trusts God to bless him, not by his own hard work. How dreams from God guide him – and he believes them, and obeys.
Genesis 32. Jacob, a man who had proven God, now grapples with Him like a Sumo wrestler – not yielding until he receives a blessing.
Do we have that tenacity? That faith in a blessing that God can bestow?
And what does God do?
He renames Jacob! He changes his identity. He puts him smack bang into his destiny.
This new name carries weight, it’s huge. And if you can rid yourself of your religious programming you might even comprehend how in Christ this is part of our life with God.
Israel – meaning – he will rule AS God!
Moses was told – you will be AS God!
God wants us to understand this concept. Kingdom has authority.
It requires YOU the person to carry it. YOU on the earth – to stand in Gods stead. YOU!
Instead, we’ve been told ‘it’s all God, it’s not me’. Or, stay so humble, don’t speak too highly of yourself! The devil laughs because he knows Christians have no idea of what is going on here.
My Recommendation to purchase an outstanding book
In the book pictured (which can be purchased here) Reinhard Bonnke tells how he learned this in the early days of preaching when the big preacher was not there, and he had to take a meeting himself. He saw himself so small but the Holy Spirit said ‘My words in your mouth are just as powerful as My words in My mouth’. He believed it and the blind in that meeting shouted ‘I can see! I can see!’ His ministry went on to being one of the most powerful Kingdom works known.
Jacob discovered it. Moses did too. David embraced it. Paul demonstrated it.
Time to really grapple with who YOU are – the blessing requires it.
