Luke 24:38 is Jesus revealing himself after he has risen from the dead. How do ordinary people believe in the possibility of the raising of the dead? And yet Jesus had told them and told them it was going to happen. When he appeared to them they were terrified, they thought they were seeing a spirit. Anxiety comes in many different forms but at its heart it is unbelief. The counter point of it is faith. Believing God, even the invisible God.
“And he (Jesus) said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?”
