Experience the brilliance of the bible for yourself

Hello! This is Bible Study Brainstorm.

We are the home for people that love a good Bible Study. We want to know God and discover all we can in the bible – without all the stuff that can come with seminary or denominational doctrine.

Here we read the bible. Line by line. Chapter by chapter. Book by Book. It’s a Bible Study with intention.

Context is everything! The original meaning is critical. It’s about discovering the framework that comes through the knowledge and wisdom of God. You’re invited to join in.

“………the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”

Ephesians 6:17

Get ready because we’re going to use ALL the good tools – anything that can help us understand.

Beyond what we think we know. Beyond what we’ve been told before. The words are going to speak for themselves. And what we don’t know….well….that’s when we research.

You deserve more than being spoon fed the standard ‘Four ways to please God’ or ‘Now that you’re a Kingdom Entrepreneur’ sermon.

That does not help you know the God that raises the dead.

And you better believe that God raises the dead because that one fundamental premise that is at the base of the gospel of Christ. Jesus Christ. Alive Today.

So we are going to humble ourselves and dig deep. That’s why this is a brainstorm. We take nothing for granted. And we don’t rest on the learnings of generations past.

We rely on the original translation of what we now call ‘The Holy Bible’ so you can look at our collect via this link to use some tools to help. They are easily accessible and we show you where to find them.

What is the Bible? And why do a Bible Study?

According to the dictionary it is ‘the collection of sacred writings of the Christian religion, comprising the Old and New Testament’.

It’s a historical document with a historical future. It is inextricably tied to its origin in the Hebrew people. God was and is the God of the Hebrew people. And the Messiah came so that ALL of mankind could participate in that privilege.

The Bible, with its mysterious and connected language, reveals a plan so wonderful, so incredible, so totally cataclysmic that it pays for us to go beyond quoting a bible verse, beyond the Sunday sermon.

God has given us everything we need that relates to life and Godliness. So let’s brainstorm about it.

The Most Influential Book in History.

According to the March 2007 edition of Time, the Bible “has done more to shape literature, history, entertainment, and culture than any book ever written. Its influence on world history is unparalleled and shows no signs of abating.

Shouldn’t you take the time to grapple with this for yourself?
